Hi guys,

I've an Inno3D 6800GT 256MB AGP on an i875 MSI mainboard, working fine otherwise. The issue is that when I use the switch user feature in XP (SP2), type in password for another user and log in, I get so far as to see the desktop, the startup sound, then the monitor becomes black, but I can hear the harddrive work for another 4 seconds or so, then everything hardlocks, with this being displayed on my monitor:

Any ideas? :(

MSI 875 NEO Mainboard with 2.6 P4
2*512MB PC3200 RAM
Inno3D GeForce 6800GT 256MB with ForceWare 93.71
Windows XP Prof. SP2 with all updates as of 2/3-07

Thanks..

This only happens when you switch users?

Have you tried different drivers? Try 91.47, they are less buggy :)

Yep! Everything else works flawlessy, I can play BF2 etc for hours, gaming is not an issue. ;o

Hm okay, I'll give them a try..

And wouldn't you have to have the drivers installed on all Accounts? Not sure, but it would make sense. No? I don't know.

Maybe the profile for the account you are trying to fast-switch to is corrupted.

Have you tried re-booting and logging on to that particular account (not fast switching)? If it doesn't work, most likely the profile for that account is damaged.

The account's fine :)

However, downgraded drivers to 91.47, and that seemed to solve the problem. Strange..
