Thanks. They delivered even faster than expected. I take it that we can expect driver updates to come fast as **** now. Some new features and options should be made but they're probably on the way.

Doesn't seem to work with CoH, get texture corruption and terrible frame rate.

03-02-07, 08:36 PM
The nvidia control panel sure does pop up alot faster now. Will be testing in Oblivion soon:)

20/32/43 in FEAR, that's with NO v-sync, 1920x1200 2xAA, 4xAF, shadows and vol. lights off.

Not good so far, I have to play with SLI modes a bit..

Edit: 16/51/80 with AFR1 forced..

Nvm, As soon as I close the CP changes made are lost. I'm going to try editing the nvapps - if there is one. :)

I'm also getting brutal pops and cracking in game, that wasn't there benchmarking.

I suppose I'll never be able to play Republic Commando. Knowing nVidia they probably pushed it on to the developer even though it's very clear this only happens with the 8800.

• Quake4 suffers a drop in performance and crashes intermittently
when symmetric multiprocessing (SMP) is enabled.

03-02-07, 09:49 PM
As far as I can tell SLI is working, but load bars aren't implemented yet and there isn't much difference between AFR1, 2 or SFR.

Just basic SLI functionality atm.

At least it's a start. :)

I want the following to be fixed;

DV doesn't save setting
ntune crashes when clicking the manual tuning option

those are the only issues that annoy me with the control panel.

with the drivers i just want performance back up to spec.

also farcry v1.4 + hdr = black sky on my pc, setting 1-11 doesn't make a difference i just get a black sky and crap fps.

No DV for 8800's

SLI does not require reboot anymore

Control panel loads much faster

Testing performance now...

This driver completely broke component out to HDTV. Nothing but wavy lines. Nice Nvidia! Time to go back to 100.65... ;-(

So far so good on the LCD 940BW. (lee63)

MASH has meatball surgery. nVidia has meatball driver development. This patient is taking a turn for the worse.
