Does Windows Vista Home Premium support quad core cpus?
The license agreement states 1-2 cpus.

Is that only possible with the ultimate edition?

it will support quad core

quad core is one cpu with 4 cores. cores make no difference on license

well, i always thought that they meant 1-2 cores.

just to be little more specific, when they say CPUs, they mean actually two physical CPUs in two seperate sockets.

you could have million cores in the same CPU, and you will be fine
