bad bad bad idea. Havent they figured out why so many people are disappointed in the GFFX. Forget the performance, or the monye, or the long dealy... the thing has been called a DustBuster for months. Why in the name of all that is holy would you wanna replicate that on a R9700

BLEH! :retard:

at least;

this dustbuster is said to be not loud at all. Only 20dB!
Also it takes only one(?) or no additional PCI-slot.

I don't think it's as loud as the FX Ultra! The fan is not that big at all.

By the way, it looks like a heatpipe under that duct.

when will someone just finaly release a high-end vid card with a quality waterblock installed from the factory?

although I see fx type cooling as rediculous at present you have to start wondering when clockspeeds will necessitate such heatsinks.

I mean look at cpu's in comparison, a 400+mhz cpu needs substantial cooling and its not nesc working as hard as a gpu of that speed.

in the near future, maybe the dx10 gen cards, fx type cooling might be common.

its funny, many of the people who flame nvidia for the fx turbo prop would problably buy one to put on their ti4600's if it was made by swiftech or alpha. lol

at any rate Id prefer to have the extreme cooling as an option rather than not at all. so at the end of the day mega cooling will prob be a good thing.

you at least have to admit the outside exhaust is a worthwhile
