View Full Version : Problems and Nerfs with Vanguard's latest patch
Butter Bandit

Logged onto Vanguard this morning, to discover that both of my weapons had been nerfed (originally each sword gave me +11 strength, now the stats give +6 strength...I would have never purchased them with the new stats).
But the item nerfs weren't the end of it. Every player I encountered, including myself, was unable to cross bridges....as in we fell through them. I was also able to run through rocks, walls, etc. Most NPCs wouldn't respond when I attempted to speak to them either.
I'm definitely not a happy gamer right now.
lol We told you guys this game was not ready to be released at the end of BETA.

What i love the most about this patch is the fact that now all the overpowered classes are being made MORE overpowered.
Pallie
Necro
Disciple
Psycionists
Sorceror
Cleric
All overpowered. All given more power. What about my class? I wouldn't call my dread knight underpowered. He seems decent for his level. What do i get? "added ability to use javalin/spears". :wtf: Why the hell would i use that?
Anyway, i cant wait to see the new areas. :D
Palatard where you at? We need to group.
Nah, we necros didn't really get a buff persay, rather they gave us a new finisher (situational one really) and turned some of our trainer bought spells into quests/drops.
Heck I haven't even tried the new finisher yet as I liked what we had.
Haven't fallen through any bridges yet. My items all seem to be a bit better...they said to look at the item as a whole, not just the stat they changed. In your swords case they should have upped the dps or something in exchange for lowering the STR.
My offhand got an INT reduction which I cussed about for a sec until I realized they upped the spell dmg focus on it.

My point is your class and all the rest of the classes i listed should have been NERFED.
The other day I saw a lvl 22 necro kiting around 6 3 dot mobs at a time single handedly. Yea thats really balanced. Oh well, i'm just bitching.

Stop leveling so i can catch up. LOL!
WRT to pallies, I would say they are pretty damn beefy. I can solo group quests if I am one level above it. I just cannot do a boss solo.
I have never been one to cry about my class' ability. If I thought they were out of balance I just went to another class. I can tell you this Tyger, if you and I did quest together we would wreck the joint. Necros are weak. They may do good damage but they have no survivablity. Pallys are basically like clerics, they are tanks that can heal. I like them so much better than pallies in WoW.
BTW what buff did pallies get. I usually don't read patch notes.

^ Yeah, I agree with that.. Necros are weak. I've grouped with quite a few of them and they always died right away if an enemy got right up on them.

trust me i wont be leveling much if at all for a while. Do you have Xfire? you can let me know when you are on so we can group. I don't mind having an overpowered person in my group. :D

Ohhh I gotcha... well since you're just bitching it's OK :D
