I should hope so considering how long developement is.

As long as the story is still strong then I don't care for its length...

I had a ball on Episode 1 during the one afternoon that it took me to beat it.

If Episode 2 delivers something similar, I will be more than happy. :)

.. 2h longer & 2yrs after.

I still hate this episode stuff. Id rather have just one long ass solid game. I can't get into the stories when they are all broken up like this... :(

Plus the technology is just gonna keep lagging behind

The episodes sounded like a good idea at first... but they should really be around 6 months apart from each other. Valve needs to hire more staff.

Valve needs to hire more staff.

No. Valve's people need to pull out their heads from their collective asses. :D

Honestly, I'd rather wait 2 years for a decent game than wait 1 year and get a load of crap!

I'm looking forward to EP2 but not expecting too much. With all the games that are on the verge(supposedly anyway) of coming out HL2 game play is seeming quite boring. They really need to make it a non-linear environment where you can explore the area. And yeah, Valve needs to get their heads out of their butts....but then again these are the same people that had their code ripped off via windows explorer...I think my 7 year old son knows enough about computers to know nothing on any computer is safe when using that garbage.

I agree with some people here, episodic gaming needs to go away. Period!

Episodic gaming needs to actually come out episodically, otherwise they need to just change the name of them to "short stories"
