Hello, I'm using Vista Ultimate x64 with an Iiyama HM903DT CRT monitor.
In games, esp. in WoW the HZ is changeable between 60-85HZ, Vista installed the monitor as PnP-Standard (Microsoft Driver).

I tried the Iiyama drivers, but they aren't compatible with x64 - so is there any way to edit the .inf file so that I can install it under x64?

In the Nvidia Control Panel - Displaysettings - the Iiyama is detected correct ( as Iiyama HM903D/DT), but I can only switch between 60-85HZ here too... , is there any solution to change the settings there or do I have to install the right Monitor-Driver (but as written above.. theres none compatible avaible).

I need some help, playing with 85HZ isn't really the best, all what I want is to change it up to 100HZ.

look for a tool called Refresh Lock 2.21 i'm using this for my refresh rates under Vista x86, and it works great for me.

Which nvidia drivers are you using? The latest 101.41 betas have totally neutered display modes. Its an easy fix (at least it was for me) but it could be related to the problem you're having.

I'm using the 100.65 Forceware and the Iiyama HM903DT is listed there correct, but I can only switch between 60-85HZ.

Refresh rate - 121HZ at 1280x1024 mode
Horisontal sunc is 131kHz in this mode (the max by tech spec is 130). Also< I think, if you need more, you can play with figures in modeline - this possibly can give additional 2-5 Hz to Vertical Refresh Rate.

I found a solution, you can edit the .inf file for the monitor from the 32 bit driver :

change

[Manufacturer]
%IIYAMA%=IIYAMA

[IIYAMA]
%HM903DA%=HM903DA.Install, Monitor\IVM1942

to

[Manufacturer]
%IIYAMA%=IIYAMA,NTamd64

[IIYAMA.NTamd64]
%HM903DA%=HM903DA.Install, Monitor\IVM1942

and then you can install the driver on vista or win7 x64 (as unsigned)

edit: have attached zip of modified for x64 drivers

hey yakumo!

thanks for the modified iiyama driver.

im searching for hours for a solution to get my iiyama to more Hz.

now im very pleased to find your driver version but:

i cant install it because windows always says to me that the optimal driver "PnP Driver" (lol) is already installed ... If I deinstall it, there is now way to get to the "Driver Install" ... And it always install automatically then the PnP driver again...

Is there any way to get this work @ all?

Please! :-)

edit:

okay i get it to work but it says its not compatible with x64 ... :(

Hi! i have Iiyama HM903DT CRT (Vision Master Pro 454) monitor and i tried to edit *.inf file, then install it but i always have an error. When i try to do this form device manager i get "optimal driver "PnP Driver" is already installed", when i try to do this from hdwwiz.cpl, i also get error that this is not proper x64 driver. I also tried disabling driver signing but i dont know extactly if i done it right. If any one can help me to install driver to my monitor i would be very happy, i can't get it work since i bought it over one year ago.

My OS is Windows Vista Home Premium x64

To all those having problems, sorry I wasn't keeping an eye on this forum.

Device manger -> Monitors -> double click current monitor -> driver tab -> update driver -> Browse My Computer -> Let Me Pick From a List of Device Drivers on my computer -> click the HAVE DISK button : point it to where you extracted the driver zip from the attachment above.

It is an unsigned driver of course, so you have to tell it to 'use it anyway'.

It does work, I just installed it on a brand new win7 pro x64 install, I only found this thread had new replies as I was hunting about to see if there was an official win7 driver now.

I still can't believe just about every iiyama monitor ever built has a driver built into win7 except this one :(

This is working for me. Thanks so much for the info.

For another Iiyama (A901HT) I had to overwrite the EDID too (see instructions on the web), to achieve 85Hz for 1280x1024.

Well I felt obligated to add to this thread as it saved me for the .inf file for Windows7 64bit Ultimate.

The attached file is for the HA202d (Ha202dt) iiyama vision master pro 512 monitor. It has the attached .icm file and .inf file for those that need to install the drivers. If you have any recommendations to upload this file to I am open ears

HERE IS THE ATTACHED FILE

I also have a file that contains all of the iiyama drivers. If you reply to this thread I will get an email and do what I can to help you out.
