RACHEL CORRIE, 23, a college student from Olympia, Wash., had been trying to stop the bulldozer from tearing down a building in the Rafah refugee camp, witnesses said. She was taken to Najar hospital in Rafah, where she died, said Dr. Ali Moussa, a hospital administrator.
Greg Schnabel, 28, of Chicago, said the protesters were in the house of Dr. Samir Masri. Israel almost daily has been tearing down houses of Palestinians it suspects are connected with Islamic militant groups, saying such operations deter attacks on Israel such as suicide bombings.
'WE YELLED "STOP! STOP!"'
"Rachel was alone in front of the house as we were trying to get them to stop," Schnabel said. "She waved for the bulldozer to stop and waved. She fell down and the bulldozer kept going. We yelled 'Stop! Stop!' and the bulldozer didn't stop at all. It had completely run over her and then it reversed and ran back over her."
Witnesses said Corrie was wearing a brightly colored jacket when the bulldozer hit her. She had been a student at Evergreen State College in Olympia and would have graduated this year, Schnabel said.
But OF COURSE this is just an accident!!!!! Who is crazy enough to think that Israelis kill civilians intentionally? DUH!!
Like few days ago when they bulldozed another house... and 'accidentally', a 9 month preganant women and two teenage boys were crushed... by accident!!!
I mean, of course more than 460 Palestinians were killed during 2001 by the Israeli security forces; Among the victims were 79 children
But those are probably terrorists!!!
Any anti-semetic who thinks otherwise?!!!!!
The US should give more aid money to Israel!!! Israel recently requested ~$12 billion, they should get it all! The US must also supply Israel with more arms and possibly better buldozers!

OK, now don't get me wrong here, it's quite tragic that she dove in front of a bulldozer and was....well, bulldozed. And don't think I'm saying it's OK that they just ran her over (but I'm sure it was an accident).

whatever she did there was no need to run her over. isrealis kill too many civilians while searching for terrorrists......and you wonder why palestinians blow themselves?.....they can shut up and be buldozered or they can blow themselves......

protest a point = die... ? I think not... its like people in the us malls being told to take off anti-war t-shirts by security officers for whatever reasons... but what about the pro-war shirts ?
This is not the first time these dim bulbs have gotten in front of bulldozers. Now this one has become a martyr (http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,81242,00.html).
And you see, this news BARELY hit the American media, and I wonder why...maybe because the American media is pro-Israel??
One Israeli dies and it's ALL OVER the American media crying "TERRORISM TERRORISM" and when 70 Palestinians die, not a single hint from the American media.

Yeah, sheesh Kain, it was mentioned on the front page of the Atlanta Urinal-Constipation (http://www.accessatlanta.com/ajc/news/) and had a half-page story on page A3. If it makes the front section of the AJC and isn't about UGA sports or admissions policies, then it's news! ;) See also, WaPo and NYT. This certainly isn't getting buried by the media in the US.
What IS getting buried is the in-between shots of the photos shown above: her standing in front of the bulldozer (before) and her lifeless body lying on the ground (after). She probably did something monumentally stupid like lying down under the blade. Call it what it really is: suicide by bulldozer.
Edit: Besides, how difficult can it be to outrun a moving bulldozer? They're not exactly fast, y'know...

Actually you are the one loosing credibility here, when someone instantly dismisses any type of criticism as anti-semetic sentiments you are the one who loses it. The fact is Israel are just as bad as the palestines, they have both commited terrible acts and neither are perfect. Or am I just anti-semetic too:rolleyes:

Maybe if the Palestinians could dump terrorist dictator Yassir Arafat and his splodeydopes we would stop seeing Israel bulldozing terrorist houses and running over the dolts who dive in front of the massive machines. Oh, wait, but that would be ignoring the plight of the Palestinian people, wouldn't it? How insensitive of me. :rolleyes:

you know.....it was looking good before Sharon came to power.
and FYI..exremists on both side need each other,without Sharon there would be no Hamas and vice versa (this is from my experience around here). exremism on one side brings extremism on other......only way out of it is for both side to get rid of exremists and start talking about what is important........like schools?,infrastrcture?,roads?,jobs?,future of their childern?
