Just tried these on Vista x86. They seem smoother then 101.41 on TDU for me. And they still got PureVideo enhancements as far as I can see :)
The only error I see there is, for whatever reason, Prey is trying to unpack its data files into an Administrator-protected directory.
Try running it as Administrator?
Sure enough that was it. Thanks!
Strange though, as of now I have FEAR, FEARXP, Cold Fear, FarCry and Prey installed, yet all launch without Admin. privileges but Prey.
The other strange thing..I just installed this and, per these posts haven't played it til now, but on getting the game to launch it started 2 full levels into the game? :p
No big deal, just very odd.
Thanks for your help.

Hmmmm...so apparently there is no SLI support for 7 Series cards in this driver.....I thought these were newer than the 101.41? I guess not....Oh well....
well, maybe they released 101.41 cause of the SLI support, I think they are busy with a couple of new drivers.
I hope the next driver is gonna be a mix of 100.95 and 101.41 without those stopping errors

Judging by how well the 101.41 drivers run they probably should've released them as alpha drivers with SLi support and the 100.95 as beta drivers without SLi.

Well I notice that the 100.95 drivers work well. Just like 100.65 drivers. The main thing is that I still get nVidia dll erros and d3d dll errors on most of my games. FEAR, Doom3 and Quake 4 run flawlessly because I assume they all use OPENGL. But maybe when we get some better drivers we'll see some stability there.

FEAR is D3D.

Any HDR+AA in Oblivion w/ these?
I'm running the 101.41's right now but they have pretty crappy performance compared to winXP.

the only issue i have with that game is the fps go all crap after a few minutes of play, but if i alt tab to the desktop and back into the game the fps are fast again, is that what you get? or something else?
Do these fix the 8800 bootup freeze that some people got with 100.59 to 100.65 and the UAC corruption?

I have the same problem with FEAR, except I have to exit and restart the game to restore the framerate (It drops to around 12fps after maybe 10-15min of play...very annoying). Anyone know of a fix for this? (not an intentional thread hijack!) :)

mine after few minutes, resets the driver couple times, and after that it eithers hard locks the entire computer or causes BSOD.
100.65 worked fine with infernal

Yer if your running vista (edit: obviously doh!! My Bad!) , go into device manager and disable all the hid compliant xxxxxxxxxx that dont have drivers installed, youll then find theres no problem!!
I was pulling my hair out over this one for ages untill i stumbled on the solution somewhere!
Great, another set of ***** drivers, arn't we all lucky to own Vista and an 8800 series card. :headexplode:

Well there's tons of Human Interface Devices. Which ones should be removed?

all the ones that have no drivers installed (click on driver details for each one, if it says no drivers are installed then disable it)

I just keep everything as is :)
But gonna try every new driver from Nvidia site
Focca-
I tried your tip with the HiDs...:D
Been testing the heck out of a bunch of games with absolutely zero issues.
I don't know why that worked, but it did.
Games installed and fully playable:
ColdFear
Prey
Unreal 2
FEAR
FEARXP
FarCry
3dmark06 averages around 8200 for me with these drivers. Sweet.
