We will soon be at war and I will not be posting any more flames debates on the war in Iraq issue anymore. I firmly believe that the politics stops as soon as the bullets fly. I am now 100% behind our troops.
May God keep them safe and grant us with a speedy victory over this evil regime. Please Lord be with the people of Iraq in their time of need. In Jesus' name. Amen.

May God ease the job of Evengalical Christians as they spread the word of the lord in Iraq after the invasion.
May God help them recruit poor Iraqi souls into salvation and peace.

This is really sad. I tried to stop my political debates and say a small prayer for those involved in this war. What is given is back is hate. Even when good is tried you are hated for it.
If you did not agree with my prayer then you did not need to reply to it. Your replies are a will hatred towards Christians. I am used to this but still always surprised none the less.
My debate here has been shrill and harsh at time and at other time even very non-Christian like. I appologize for that. This thread was an attempt to stop on my part my sad behavior. I have tried to be civil and intellegent in my post but I failed many times.
I hope the regular participants in these political debates accept my appologies and we can be friends. Even you Volt.;)
I don't think the last few posts in this thread reflect the total attitude in this forum but I may be wrong.

Religion is the most evil thing human mastered. Unfortunately, it's a virus that we will never be free of.

Lets just watch it play out and stop our little war, we can do nothing further. We all; those againts the war and for it will now see what comes of it. Also, you fail to differentiante between "disliking an ideology" and "those who follow it".
I have many close good church-going Christians friends, and I certainly don't hate them, I love them.

You are not a Christian and don't know what I see as a Christian. I never cried about my choice. I just pointed out what I seed and have been through. A few anti-christian posts in a forum is hardly persecution in my book. So don't think I am say I was being oppresed. I don't subscribe to the "I'm a victim" crowd.

I only pointed out what you said and you call it whinning. You threw flames just to be inflamatory. Nothing good came from what you did. I'll bet you routinely flame any religious posts in the forums you visit. I'll also bet you are outspoken against religions. I'm sure you will deny it but this present thread is proof enough. My first reply was a flame but then I retracted it because it was wrong. I did admit my wrong doing but you seem to want to keep it up on your own. So I will step out of the way and let you have at it.
