Go Kentucky!!!! BUt I really doubt it, they play Kansas tomorrow, if Randolph Morris can put together the game of his life, maybe we have a chance.

Sosa could only do so much, 31points, 15/17FT, his stats were just sick. If we'd had more than one person scoring we'd been alright. He just started to break down there at the end. Padgett and DC being in foul trouble most of the game hurt us and we could get anything going off the blocks. Sosa was basically our entire offense. We played decent D though. It was an incredible season though. In Dec most Card fans were wondering if we'd even make the Big East tourney and we turned it around, finished 2nd in the conference and played some good games in the post season.

I'll be routing for UK tomorrow but they'll need to play their best game of the season in order to get past KU.

The key to beating KU is to keep us at the foul line. With the exception of a few players, we shoot pathetically poorly from the line. A very bad strategy against KU is to try and outrun us - we have too many talented guards to rotate in and out for a strategy like that to work.

...and then there was one. I can't believe UNC is the only ACC team left. So much for being the best conference this season.

Only OSU left from the Big Ten now as well. I was glad that Purdue gave the Gators a game, experience helped Florida down the stretch. Purdue has one of the best recruiting classes in the nation coming in next year, can't wait!

Now I'm pulling for the Salukis...from back in my hometown area. SIU for teh win!!!!1 :)

Ohio State has the best class coming in next year. Remember the name Kosta Koufas- 7'2" 260 pounds and has more talent in one arm than Oden.

It would be great if he stays. I live in Canton and my daughter attends the same school system as Kosta. He is incredible. According to a recent article in the local newspaper some NBA scouts would have had him in the top 10 first round this year if the rules weren't changed. OSU also has a 6'7" guard that is averaging 40+ points a game coming next year, Jon Dielber. They are going to be loaded. I bet Oden leaves though. Koufas does everything, he brings the ball up the floor, posts up and shoots 3s. In a game I saw just last week he had his back to the basket on top of the 3 point line and just turned around and shot over a guy for a 3. Personally I think he's more exciting to watch then Lebron was in high school cause you can't believe a guy who is 7'2" has such footing and speed.

Gonna have to hunt down a bar in Washington DC to watch the KU/SIU game at tomorrow night. I have a nice HD LCD set in my hotel room, and CBS here is HD, but Georgetown plays at the same time and I would assume the DC station will carry that.

Whew, that game was far too close for comfort. It was a good illustration of my previous post, though, where I mentioned we are worthless free-throw shooters. It was good to see Brandon Rush finally stepping up and being the man; it's too bad he will probably be gone after this season.

Congrats to Florida though it pains me to give credit to a SEC team. Argh, had to deal with the razzing last night at volleyball from friends that went to SEC schools.
