View Full Version : Splinter Cell: DA + 8800gtx + 100.87 drivers + patch + -ll tweak = mest up! (pics)
Here's a video of it glitching,
So I browsed through the long 30+ page thread about the game, but still, the -ll isn't working, and the 1.2 patch didn't fix it, and I'm using the latest 100.87 drivers for XP.
Just installed the 96.89 drivers, and now I can see a little more of Sam and the environment, but it's still all mestup.
Updated the DX9 files from Feb. 07, etc.

have you even tried the 97.92's?
I'll give those a try. Those are the ones I normally use, but someone on guru3d said the 96.89 were the best with XP, and the 97.92 always made the guns in BF2 and BF2142 look weird.
Currently uploading a video on video.google.com
It's rendered at 60fps, so it looks smooth, but of course, video.google.com compresses stuff, and it's still messing up. Will switch drivers once the video is done uploading.
Here's the video,
Edit: the 97.92 drivers pretty much fixed it, even though a few things flicker every now and then. Only problem now is that the sound sometimes cuts out.

double agent is just screwed up.. even on 7 series thers glitches... particularly in congo part 2 which made me stop playing... not to mention terrible performance and severe mouse lag... and sli doesnt do much either
The screenshots you showed were definitely an issue with some of the earlier drivers. I can't recall which one fixed it but it looks like it might have been broken again in 100.87. I'm using the 97.92s though and it seems fine with those.
I finished playing Double Agent with my 7800SLI setup last fall after it came out, then just last night I finished it a second time with my 8800GTX under Vista. It ran like poo with the 7800GTX-SLI setup, but it ran pretty well in Vista with the 8800GTX and the 100.65 drivers, although I did upgrade to the 100.95 drivers before I completed the game.
Well, the 97.92 drivers fixed it. I also tweaked the file to get "Ultra High" textures, etc. It's pretty, but it often runs bad.
