Just wondering, what does the Xeon have over a standard Core 2?

You got me, they seem to OC well though (lee63)

They are practically the same, I think they are higher binned though.

After all these problems my new rig with an Opty185 is having, maybe I should ditch that rig and go Core2. That Xeon is awesome looking. :D

Great oc dude, I remember (about 3 years ago) think that getting a 400Mhz oc on my s754 2800 was awesome- know you guys are pulling in 1.2GHz+ oc's without a sweat. Just crazy. :p

Looks impressive. 1.59V is still a bit on the higher side but at least it's a lot better than my E6600 :)

Lee, so you sold your 8800GTXs and bought two ACS3? Good move :p

I read they are tested more strenuosly than the 6x00 series Core2s. now that they have begun to trickle out on the lga775 platform the differences are sparse. (before they were limited by memory bandwidth restrictions of different platform)

Thats what I got with my old A64 Newcastle 3000+! :D 2.4 GHz FTW!

hehe, compared to the QX6700 that's really cool.
Do you have any plans to push it even further?

Depends how long i can wait? I am looking at the Xeon 3320 but can't find the 3200 range in the UK only the 5200 which is skt 771. Any places in the States that ship over seas that sell the skt 775, 3200 range processors.
