Interesting. I'd like to know how bad the added latency is though.

If I had another PCI slot I'd give this a go, as I have a DDL card in my HTPC.

Yep exactly. It also seems useful as a software switch. You could have one card going to your computer speakers and then the other to your home entertainment receiver.

Also you could run EAX3.0-5.0 games out to your reciever.
