I thought you might be interested in this. A friend of mine works in the genetics lab at one of the local univercities and has access to some hefty microscopes equipped with cameras.

This is a pic of the individual mirrors on a DLP chip. To give you some reference, the entire chip full off mirrors measures about 1" x 1", give or take.

I still do not see how that few mirriors can give a HD pic on yor screen.
DLP is pretty darn amazing tech.

Great pic Gib! I'm sure anyone can appriciate a pic like that. I can't even imagine holding that thing, I'd feel like I would break it. It's probably worth a few pennies too. :)

The picture shows only a very small corner of the chip. There are many more.
