I started looking around some more, and the prices of drives are dropping quite a bit again. They also have the WD 400GB there for the same price, and I found the 320GB segate at tiger for $80 after MIR. The 500GB is 144 at newegg. I'm really looking to get a pair of 500's to upgrade my storage box, but I think I'm still going to sit tight to see if they drop a little more when the 1TB segate comes out.

That is damn cheap. The 7200.9s arent bad, i use one as my secondary drive, but the new 7200.10s with PRT are way faster.

Oh crap, it might be. I didn't know they made a 400GB 7200.9 model. If that's the case then it is not as big of a deal, I'd much rather than the .10 model. I've been looking at so many hard drives it is very possible I overlooked it, and they don't list specifically what type it is.
