The new Vista drivers seem to work well, but there is still no DV for 8800 cards yet. I miss the ability to change the intensity of the colors on screen. It still seems to work with all cards except the 8800. I wonder why?

They'd better support it in the next release... whenever that comes (should have been this week).. unless they have no intention of supporting it which would suck.

it doesn't work with all cards, i think it's broken for everyone, you 8800 users are not the only ones with half ass drivers atm.

lol are all you guys running CRTs? I practically have to have DV enabled @ about 30% for colors to look right on my 2407; same thing goes for my old 17in LCD...Maybe you've never had it enabled for any great length of time, once you do its hard to go back :( I've been using it since my 5700 Ultra.

Things look fine on my LCD without DV. They do look better with it, but even when I do have it on I only turn it up to about 5-10% because any greater than that and colors start to become too bright lose contrast. So having it off doesn't really bother me.

i have a 19 inch lcd and i usually set it to 23% which is what i prefer.

From what I heard DV isn't supported on the 8 series cards, and never will be. Although I never used it, I'd be happy if they did put it back in. :D

What a newb! :p

Funny how I'm using an unsupported feature on these cards without issue- granted, I am using XP though. :p

DV is actually quite nice. It can be excessive if turned all the way up (atleast in my opinion it can be excessive) but at some of the lower settings it really does improve the color quality quite a bit.

If you have a dual boot of XP, try DV out. I think once you find a setting that fits your preference you'll like it. ;)

I love DV. I've been using it for quite a long time now. I currently have it set at 25%. Hope they get it fixed for all you Vista users.
