I wonder how loud those cooling fans get...

Which cooling fans?

You forgot your link code on page 3 :p

Not only was I able to successfully overclock my CPU, but this amazing Super Talent (link) memory has finally shown its true capabilities. With stock speeds of 800MHz effective at CAS 4-4-3-8 1T timings, this RAM definitely has the potential to scream along at higher speeds.

Crap. :o

Thanks for catching that! I'll change it when I get home for lunch in a few minutes.

EDIT: Fixed as of 12:13pm central time. :)

Which cooling fans?

The northbridge fans on the boards. Why not use passive cooling?

I assume because active cooling is more efficient and effective. I haven't heard any fans other than my GTSs when they kick in during gaming. Otherwise, this setup is near-silent.

So you don't hear that little fan when you are browsing, etc?

I just noticed you have one from your sig... how is the OCing on it?

As always nice review Kyle.:D

If only the price was around $150 these boards will sell like hotcakes. But I suppose that would intrude on the 650 chipset price range.

Thanks guys...I love this board and I love that I'm finally able to see what all the fuss has been around the C2D's amazing overclockability.

And this case... :D
