Westinghouse 37", Without a doubt one of the most satisfying purchases i've made in awhile, CS Source is lifesized..!! I'm pretty happy with the 1920x1080 resolution as well, not quite as high as the dell monitor however it still looks great for gaming and web browsing. :afro2:

Congradulations. Best purchase I've made for my machine in years. No regrets.

Two questions for ya....

How are dark scenes and games. Is Doom3 playable?

How is smearing? Noticeable at all?

Dark scenes are OK. At least as good as they were with my 2405FPW, if not better. Doom3 was playable on that display, though I think it didn't look as good as it would've on a CRT.

As for smearing/ghosting there is very little of it noticeable. Only time I notice it is if I stand facing a wall and strafe back and forth in a game. So IOW - if I *try* to reproduce it I can see some. Otherwise no.

Once you play CSS on it or watch some BBC h.264 1080p content you'll be sold.

Terrible if you're used to the black levels of a CRT especially if you like gaming at night.
