Xvid 1080p playback issue in Vista

I'm trying to play a 1080p Xvid TV cap I downloaded and when I try to play it, I get no sound, and the video tends to play a bit skippy, meaning it will freeze breiefly every 4-5 seconds. I have the latest xvid codec installed as well as ac3 filter. Any Ideas?

uninstall xvid and ac3. and just install the latest fdshow

Go figure it works find useing Zoom Player, still can't get it working correctly in media player, even with fdshow.
