View Full Version : British nukes in the gulf?
Check it out: http://www.operations.mod.uk/telic/forces.htm. All the ships are named except the last one which just ambigiously says "plus a Fleet Submarine". Probably one of the nuclear subs I think :)
It would be stupid to go over there with out them.

not forgetting melting boots on the sand, failing rifles, tanks failing etc etc
typical of our government not putting in money when/where needed.

Dude, this is the 21st century...our troops are going in packing "battlefield nukes" them own selves!
Honest, low-yield nuclear bombs are gonna be going in with the troops in case they "need to contain any biological attacks". :(
The only nuclear weapons the UK has is on the four nuclear submarines which carry American missiles. The RAF used to have those 400 kiloton WE-177 bombs, but the last of those were scrapped in 1998.
