New word files always opens up with tables

New word files always opens up with tables anyone know how to get rid of it and make Word open blank documents instead of table document?

Sounds like your "Normal.dot" file is corrupt. Try deleting it unless you have a lot of custom settings such as auto text entries.

man you are awesome! yes that was the prob.. i rename the normal.dot to oldnormal.dot and let word create a new one!
