Decompose the "This is living" symbolism

Many of us have seen the "This is living" tv adverts produced for/by Sony to produce interest in the PS3. What most of us did not expect is for the adverts to be extremely deep in stylization, methaphors and symbolism to represent the message being delivered. In total there are six adverts (not in order):

While I have yet to check out all the adverts and much of the website, I'm still quite in the dark to what the intentions are/were with these. So watch the adverts, check out the website, state your thoughts and use references so the rest of us can watch and discuss.

Given the huge number of trolls, illiterate, and flamers, lets try to keep it nice, and keep it on topic. If you can't do that, you'll simply be making it obvious that you could not pass a college and/or univeristy Arts program first year film course.

Your actually trying to find deep meaning in these advertisements? Its basically like MS "Jump out" ads or any other advertisement from any company. Moreover alot of ads have absolutely nothing to do with the product and are there just to look cool. I don't think your suppose to come away from it with some kind of revelation. Regardless the ads have worked and your post is proof of that. It got you to think and further spread info on the product.

I have to disagree with the idea that the spots are simply a bunch of random ramblings tossed together with PlayStation-esq start and finish. While I've never been in charge of a spending authority with that kind of budget, I'm sure that the oversight on such works would be more evasive rather than less than I have to deal with. I'm still going to run with the premise that the message is hidden deep within the symbolism. Just like the www.ILoveBees.com at the end of the superbowl halo2 advert.

Regardless I dont think these ads warrant such deep thought and analysis. Just listen to the narrative. There just going with what Sony and IMB have been saying about the Cell for a long time. Basically its doing what no other CPU in a console has done before. Kind of like its living (yeah eat me).

And the ILoveBees ads were totally different in that they were viral marketing which infact does have a deeper meaning.
