Well, today, when i got home, I turned on the computer, only to have it turn itself automatically. I was suprised to see it just turn off and worried if i had a problem, so i opened the case, and checked the connections and they were all good and looked untouched. I put the side back on and turned it on.

It turns on and after i see the ASUS logo load up on the screen, i was waiting for the microsoft logo to pop up with that loading bar on the bottom. Instead, It goes into a. "We are sorry for the inconvenience, but windows failed to start normally" or something and continues for about 3 paragraphs.

It gives me a choice to go on
Safe Mode
Safe mode with Networking
Safe mode with command prompt
Last known configuration settings
and
Start windows normally.

I try start windows normally, and it restarts, only to load up to the same screen. I tried the other ones too, only to, again, have it load the same screen. I tried putting in the asus CD and microsoft CD, but it does not load up either and goes right to the screen.

If anybody can help, i'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Your windows install looks curropted, have you tried loading into safe mode? It could be faulty drivers or a critical windows file. Safest bet is to due a repair of windows or a complete reinstall.

Go into the bios and make sure your optical drive is before your hard drive in the boot order. Then try the windows cd again. It should say "press any key to boot from cd" or something to that effect. Once the cd boots, hit enter to install windows (don't hit "r" because it will take you to the recovery console...not what you want to do), and then pick repair windows. It basically reinstalls windows but leaves your programs/files intact. But only do this if you've exhausted every other option.
