Line In - No audio :( Help. Urgent

hi folks

i dont get any audio output in kde / gnome

xmms plays mp3 fine
but arts is dead i guess..

nvidia chipset
a7n266 vm mb
256 ddr

i have configured the tv tuner, but i can only see video, not the audio.

modprobe nvaudio works fine and loads the module

First step, lose nvaudio.
Install Alsa driver for intel8x0.
Visit alsa page and follow their instructions to the letter.
