sp1 wont load!!

i just did a fresh install of windows on my new asus nforce2 deluxe and athlonxp2400, i go to windows update and install sp1.

the thing goes and downloads the 33mb of stuff then it says to restart, when it restarts nothing happens. when i go to windows update it asks me to install sp1 again. ive done it 2x with no luck. help!!

Have you tried downloading the 130 mb SP1 distributable file and running that instead of doing it from Winblows update?
