OMFG.

So i bought the game today even though i had my doubts about it. I have not played the SP yet (jumped straight to MP) and OMFG MP in this game is NICE!
Playing on 40 players servers in the UK and there is NO lag and the game is so fun.
Shame on me for not getting this last week. PLEASE get this game if you have a PS3.

Play the SP, awsome game.

BTW, Try a US server, see if you get lag so we can all get a game going one day. ;)

Will try that :) I love the weapon balance in MP. I have about 150ms ping to the states from Denmark, so should be playable :p

Toss me an invite, we'll try to get everyone from nvnews with a PS3 into a Resistance match sometime.

And yeah, owning this game is practically a requirement if you own a PS3.

Btw i got the Logitech G25 yesterday. When i got home i connected it to my PS3 and it just worked in F1 !!!! :) Played a full F1 race today on SEMI pro and ohhh man what a nice game. And oohhh man i love i can use that wheel for both LFS on the PC and F1 on the PS3. Nice move Sony.
And yea i'm a total F1 geek, i never miss a race :)

So as an F1 Geek, do you think the game revives the F1 series? Many doomed it once Sony got their hands on it.

I haven't put any time into F1 yet, like alot of my games...

And i only got 12th on SEMI after about 2½ hours....Damn the F1 game is intence. Well done sony, i was afraid it would be pure arcade.
If i go to HARD i can just get in top 20 :p

Fact is that i thought the game was doomed :) But Sony proved me wrong. The game is REALLY HARD on SEMI and PRO. Dont even TRY to hit another car on PRO, your done in the race. And i REALLY like that. Since i'm a hardcore Live for speed player :)

I still haven't gotten around to adding you yet PeterJensen....haven't fired up the PS3 in a couple days.

I have it but I suck horribly at it. So, I'm pretty sure I'd just be in the way. :)

I have played a little bit of the SP. I really liked some of the subtle touches. Like, I was searching through one of the buildings that I knew someone was in. As I slowly crept around, I'd occasionally hear a board squeak upstairs. Definitely made the tension rise.

for some reason i'm not really into resistance. i played for a couple of hours and finished few levels... what's so special about it? :( i'm a bit disappointed since it offers nothing from any shooters on pc or 360.

A unique story and setting for one (no more WW2 rehashes plz), a variety of weapons, and incredible FREE online multiplayer.

Nothing new over any shooters on PC or 360? What exactly can a shooter offer that's new? Go play Halo if you want something "special".

No one said Resistance brought anything new to the table but what it does bring is a well balanced and rounded FPS game in the time where every FPS game is just a copy of another.

The weapons you get in SP after you beat it once make it even more fun.
A whole new weapon set.
The multi is the most fun I think I have had since enemy territory when it first came out and I cant wait to see the new maps

I have resistance but I havent opened the case yet. I am still trying to get a hang of motorstorm SP. I cant get into the top 3 in race 2 with the trucks...aaargh
