Happy Feet

I recently purchased Happy Feet and just wanted to say how good this movie looks. CG movies seem to look good in hi-def anyway but man, this movie looks awesome. The movie was pretty funny also. Anyway, it's available in both formats and I highly recommend it if you like these type of movies.

Sounds good, I might go out and rent this title this weekend. I'm personally waiting for Ice Age (part 1) in Hi-Def to come out as I felt it was much better than the 2nd

Good to know it's a decent flick. My wife's side of the family are all dancers and I knew I'd be subjected to multiple viewings of this movie when the DVD came out. Now I'm not dreading tapdancing penguins so much. :D

We watched Happy Feet monday night before we put it out on the shelves. It was prolly the worst kids CG movie I've ever seen. A lot of "parents" that were all excited about it, came back in and told me how disappointed they were lol.

Seriously? I thought it was really good...so on 2nd thought, instead of recommending it maybe I should say "rent it" first to make sure you want to buy it. :)

Edit: BTW, I was surprised at how well Brittany Murphy sings. I went through all the credits to see who sang some of the songs and was surprised to see it was really her singing.

I thought it was horrible and my girlfriend did as well. If you like musicals based on pop music with Robin Williams playing every other character this might be your thing.

I couldn't stand the trailers, but it did win an award or two didn't it? I don't really like any of the Kids CG movies, except Monsters Inc.

I think the studios should stop making these damn animal cgi films and start working on some decent stuff, with cgi the movie is only limited by the film makers imagination, sadly they dont seem to have much of one apart from thinking "what animal hast been done yet".

Im hoping arnie will let them do him 100% cgi in a t4 film, he would be the easiest as he has 2 facial expressions and is very cgi like anyways. and he wont look like a flabby old lady like in t3.

I thought it was terrible. When it won over Cars, I was shocked. Cars was ten times the movie HF was.

No way dude! I abso loved Happy feet!!! It's a cool flick that I have watched a number of times. Girls love it! Almosta chick flick! It's got the feel good formula which is easy on the mind! Personaly I am tired of watching over complicated movies...brain cannot hack it as I rack my brains enough at work. Give me a dancing penguin flick any day over a cerebral film. tee hee! :D
