Hmmm, didn't realize this was such a tough question but might be worth a sticky for everyones reference.

all i can say is there are no official or official beta drivers supporting DX9.

there's so many leaked beta drivers it's hard to say which support DX9 and which don't.

I'm running the 42.01's & DX9. DXDiag says that the drivers are DX9 compliant.

(Well, closest thing I can find is that it says the DDI drivers are "9 (or higher)") I dunno if that helps...

The release bulletin http://download.nvidia.com/Windows/40.41/NVWinRel40_Features_11.pdf for the Det 40 series says they support DX9. So I assume anything after that does.

hmm, that is more proof that nvidia needs to update their site and/or give us new drivers. straight from the Driver download page, where you select what family of cards you want drivers for [quote]Detonator 40 is the graphics driver for all NVIDIA Graphics Processing Units (GPUs). Detonator 40 supports 2D graphics, DirectX 8.1, OpenGL 1.4, nView Desktop Management software version 2.0, NVRotate. NVKeystone, Digital Vibrance Control and includes a new control panel and the CineFX emulator. Through NVIDIA’s Unified Driver Architecture, Detonator software supports all GPUs below in a single driver.
