In order to end this war as soon as possible we need to support our troops as actively as possible. Our men and women in harms way work best when they know we support them. We can show our support by mailing letters of encouragement and what the GI loves most care pack!!! This more than anything else lifts their spirits and drives them to finish this war as quickly as possible.
You can send simple gifts like Top Ramen, AA batteries, canned air, simple snacks, music ect. Just keep it simple. These gifts along with a letter of encouragment will mean so much to them. Now here is the important part. When you send your care package send it to a specifig unit. Do not just send it to troops in Iraq as the mail clerks will find them selves a gold mine of gifts they can trade with. So in order that the men and women who actually fight send it to a specific unit.
I am asking for your help to find the website where we can send these gifts. I will keep looking for it my self.
Please do not post anything but information pertaining to supporting our troops.
This is not a political thread but merely our wishes that this war end soon and our men and women come home as soon as possible. Please set asside your political opinions and lets get this thing rolling. Take this messege to as many people as you can. Do not just let it sit here in the forum. Please be proactive about this. I know we all have the time to do this since we all troll these forums most of the day. ;)
