Which driver can I use?

I'm looking for a driver that allows scaling and will let VLC media player to run. I've found a driver that allows scaling, but won't run VLC and I've found a driver that will run VLC, but won't allow for scaling, which makes the games look horrible. Can anyone help me with this problem?

Just use OpenGL for output in VLC, it will work fine.
