I installed vista from a clean slate, now I want to install XP for dual boot. I created a new partition in vista so I could install XP on it, inserted the XP disk and had it boot from CD. It loads up but when it gets to the licence agreement I try to agree but when i scroll down to the end I get this EULAID error, which I know is the type of error you get when trying to install a copy of XP which came preinstalled with a computer. Problem is that this is a retail copy of Windows XP, i've now tryed two different version and got the same error. What do I do, any help would be apprecieated.

Look at this:

And look here:

And for the EULAID error check the CD and the CD or DVD Rom unit, if you get the error with 2 versions is possibly that your DVD-Rom is fubared

iirc installed XP first was the recommended way to go. Then while running XP, insert your Vista DVD and install it from within windows. I did this while I had them both on a single hdd and it worked quite well.
