Been sitting on these for a few days and seem to be working fine, so uploaded them for a little more feedback and opinions.
9.31 was the last official release (in the 15.00) package so these are newer. Don't have date comparisons as I am currently at work and needed to share a little excitement.

I forced installation of the 9.31 drivers and found my raid array disks constantly spinning up and down and when rebooting would also spin down, pretty annoying so this is resolved. It may well have solved a hang I have been experiencing at shutdown which I have been having a nitemare tracing, but I am still looking into that.

Also have the SATA IDE drivers which I don't need, but I guess some might - so there you go.

The IDE drivers are WHQL signed, the raid drivers are not but they worked fine for me.
They are 32bit only.

NVIDIA and I (:o) can't take any responsibility for using these as they aren't even released betas, but if the spinning issue is annoying you as much as it did me, then you will want these.

Only tested on my Nforce 4 AMD board (abit Fatal1ty AN-8), but may work with others?

SATA BOTH 9.31 WHQL.rar is just a repackaged version of what is on nvidia.com don't so don't worry about those.

Any feedback appreciated, they stil lhowever feel like something hacked together for Vista users and I expect something more robust -- rather like the display drivers.

I don't have a 64bit version.

Its only really for those that installed 9.31, like me, that are getting annoyed by the spinning.

Heres hoping for something more official soon.

I'd like to have the 64-bit version as well. I hate it when the hard drives have to spin down and park for a simple reboot.

Same. I always sort of wondered why I had to wait for all my drives to spin down and shut off just to restart. I thought Vista was doing it on purpose though. Setting a record time of 36 minutes for it to shut down one time. Though usually it only takes 3-4 minutes. (Which is still too long.)

Well mine is still rebooting nicely, dunno if it started when I installed 9.31

If I do reformat, I would go 64bit so would need 64bit drivers, obviously, but i prob won't be reformatting anytime soon.

That helps. Thanks!
