Looking through the unpacked files it appears there are aldo updates to DX10 for Vista users.

its not installing that DX10 compiler(d3dcompiler_33.dll) and second file (d3dx10_33.dll) on vista.

Those are both from Feburary also.

STOP PRESS: Microsoft have withdrawn the April 2007 version of DirectX. As a result, the download is back to the February 2007 release. We will update the page when a fixed April 2007 version appears.

I also haven't run into any issues with this playin Stalker, FarCry, TDU, or WoW.

fixed version? the original seems to work fine. wonder WTH is wrong with it that they felt they had to pull it ... hmm
