View Full Version : 8800GTX cooling?

So I noticed that even with all my cooling, my 8800GTX still gets very hot. I figured that I need to replace the stock cooler with something else.

This is the 8800GTX I have:

for the record, Thermalright makes TOP NOTCH products.

ever since i moved to a Thermalright heatsink, i will never touch another brand again.

Is Arctic Cooling coming up with anything for the nvidia 8 series? I love their products.

With that do you remove the gray-colored plastic covering with the fan from the video card itself and then install that?

Yes, you remove the stock cooler including the stock fan. It's a lot easier than it sounds.
