Ive just flashed my 8800GTS 640MB's bios to the latest Rev 04 version using nvflash v5.50 that i downloaded from mvktech.com everything went fine, i then downloaded NiBiTor v3.3 and edited the Rev 40 biso file so that the speeds of my 8800GTS are running at 600MHz clock core, 1500MHz Shaders & 1.8GHz on the memory ... this way the card will run at those speeds without any overclocking software! ... the thing is if you look at the provided image you will see the shader slidebar on the left (in the red square) has a caution sighn on it! .... would this be ok or would it be recommended that i lower the shader speeds untill the caution sign has gone? ..... as tou can see from the pic the temps seem fine at just 51c! .... just that little caution sign has me alittle worried!

Well i didnt wanna risk anything so i kept lowering the shader speeds untill the caution triangle disappeared, got the shader speed down to 1400MHz! :captnkill:

Whats the max oc on your card?? I just recently tried oc'ing mine for the 1st time....the gpu hit 680mhz on ATI tool and wanted to keep going!! I got a little freaked and aborted, my memory would only go to 860 though :(
Wonder if a new bios would help at all.

Using Rivatuner 2.0 Final.

If i go past 620MHz on the core i get artifacting in 3dmark06, ive had my memory at 2.0GHz ..... I have my shaders at 1400MHz ... ive never actually tried to overclock any further since i flashed to the latest Rev.04 bios(only flashed yesterday)! im happy with 600/1400/900, thats faster than the average 8800GTX!

Update:

I have tried overclocking with the new Rev.04 bios and i have now flashed and edited my bios to 615MHz on the clock core, 1500MHz shader clock & 2.0GH on the memory..... all running fine!
