OH yeah! Anything where I can upgrade something I already used to upgrade something else is  in my book!

The future is good for notebooks. Looks like the only limit to its upgrade ability will be power related.

Yeah only one power connector :(

You know someone will mod a 2nd PSU onto a common ground plane to that thing for extra power. Also, I could see people leaving off the side panel and mounting cards with dual slot coolers.

Okay, am I the only one wondering what the heck that is? An upgrade for a video card? Just how is it an "upgrade" for that video card?

We had a few threads about this product already. It's an external graphics card for notebooks.
But I'm not sure if it's based on the new external PCIe standard or some other connection type by ASUS.

I an pretty sure it uses the external PCI-E port that will become standard on notebooks here in the future.

Hopefully they will be cross compatible with other brand notebooks.

Oh well, I am still partial to my e-atx tower.

Ah, thanks. That is actually pretty cool- so long as it is universal (will work with all or most notebooks). That'd give me more of an incentive to purchase a notebook then. :D
