I bought this PSU, just for a single 8800GTS 640mb, but some people say it should be just about fine for SLi, and some say it doesn't.

Now does anyone have personally experienced if this works or not?

Thanks :)

I think that power supply should be enough.

I think it will suffice at stock clocks, but will possibly be stretched if you O/C.

Lol, yup, I had a 7800GTX 512mb, but I sold it, but due to a scam on eBay, I lost half a grand, so I can't get a GTX, so I'll have to settle for a GTS, but can't buy it immediately unfortunately. To make matters worse, my Powerstream decided to give up, no warranty (switched fans)

So yea, though but oh well. :)

520w psu is more than enough and you'll be able to over clock just fine with one 8800 GTS. I probably wouldn't recommend going 8800 GTS SLI with that system though, your money would be better spent on a cpu upgrade. Over clocking a single GTS from the 513/792 stock speeds to 650/850 on my secondary system(4000+ @ 2.7ghz which coincidentally has a 500w psu) brought little in the form of results. Upgrading to 3ghz 6000+ on this main system has given me a good boost in Stalker, Oblivion and Fear (Far Cry, HL2, Doom 3, Quake 4 and the other games on my system already run so fast I haven't even bothered checking the fps yet).

It puts out 40 amps on 3 12v rails ,I think it would run two 8800GTS in SLI ,I ran my two 8800GTs on a SilverStone 560watt that had 38amps (45peak) on the 12v rail and had then overclocked to 621/900 and 3.6g on the CPU and the rest of my spec's and it never shut down ,but I bought a bigger power because I thought I was pushing that one to the limmit.
