Well, has anybody tried PM'ing MikeC about this yet?
This isn't the first time this happened. No one was singled out iirc, just an internet gremlin having fun.
Either that or your all being set up for the ban hammer. :D

I PM'd him this afternoon. I am being patient about it.
It cannot be bans (or rather, is probably not bans), because of the wide range of people who cannot get in.
And how did I get dragged into this? If you can not access the forums, I have nothing to do with it. Don't blame me for your problems.

It is not down for everyone, just some of us. Personally, I do miss it. I think the most intelligent people are drawn there, and I have learned a great deal from the people there.

I remember when we first asked Mike to create it, Udawg, Vamps, myself, Psycho, 1stflight, Sytaylor, Bu and co (it's late, I don't recall some of the other regular posters back then).
It WAS about content and discussion. Not the b.s. it devolved to.
I think perhaps it should just be locked away for a good time. Heck, there wasn't even any moderation in there anymore so it had basically devolved into a free-for-all.
I miss the good old days from WAAAAY back when :)

The fact that a perfectly decent place just happened to denigrate to the level as pretty much every other boards political/religious discussion board is simply a shame.

It was my first post. I posted a question about, "what is terrorism?" and when I came back I couldn't see the forum anymore and my post doesn't exist in my post history. It just never was.
I can't believe I said anything so radical or offensive. I didn't even claim a position just asked questions. :(
Maybe I'll just stick to questions about Nvidia drivers and games.
I think the forum was interesting, and I believe most discussions there were held on an intellectual level. I learned alot from it. :(

Maybe you're right. The Forum is now visible for me when I'm logged in. My thread is gone but maybe there was some technical glitch.
