Personally, i'd rather that ATi and nVidia (as well as AMD and Intel) stay competing, because the longer they compete, it means more price drops, and better Tech coming to us consumers. As far as i'm concerned, i hope they all do well.

No, I don't really think he does. With all due respect to SH0DAN, I'm convinced he only looks for bad news about AMD- and overlooks any of the good news.

They've typically offered both, depending on the product.

True. All the Dell computers we use at the office have ATI cards. But the ones I've ordered and set up for private customers almost always had nVidia cards.

edit: can someone jog my memory as to when the next (AMD) analyst/shareholder conference call is ? is it later this month ?
