Well, as the title says Oblivion crashes after about 20 mins with the Nvlddmkm error.
What has me concerned about this is:
1. All I read about is the great performance everyone seems to have with the 101.70 drivers and Oblivion.
2. After the crash I have intense HD thrashing for a half hour or so, if I try run Oblivion again before restarting the PC I go straight into another Nvlddmkm crash. Could some process be killing me here?
Any ideas? I can accept the fact the drivers are just not cutting it yet, but if i'm the only one with this particular problem I really want to hash it out.
Tried with and without AA+HDR, Just AA, just HDR.
Specs:
EVGA 8800 GTX @stock
EVGA 680i
C2D e6700 @stock
Creative X-fi fatality
2 gig DDR2 800 @stock
Forceware 101.70 WHQL (elusive windows update version)
