I got it on 33c idle. Thats a huge difference. It was around 44-45c. Its a hot day and hear I am idling at 33c. This is of course with the voltage setting at 1.2000, and the stock clocks. I will probably raise it up. What does the voltage call for on the CPU side to get oh say 3.4-3.5 out of the CPU?

Just curious.

Yeah, I love the Freezer 7. At stock clocks and 20C room temperature, my x6800 idled at 17-18C. Mabye the 4 side fans on my stacker helped also.

We could give you a number. But that won't mean it is right.
The only way for you to find out is try it and see if it is stable.
No two cpu's are exactly the same. You might be able to do it off 1.35v or you might need 1.5v. No one knows.

Yeah so I've discovered..

What exactly is a good stock voltage though? I mean at stock clocks for the E6600. I know at auto its set to 1.28, and I can manually set it to 1.2000 and it will running a tad cooler.

I was more curious about the voltages like the FSB, and the ones that automatically adjust so high when you try to o/c.
