Hi folks,

Just wondering, how the hell do you enable the green SLI bars in Vista?

Using the WHQL set of 101.70s and want to check that SLI is even being used in STALKER because it runs like garbage, even with Dynamic Lighting turned off.

Don't seem to have any options to enable the green bars to check for SLI in the menu. :(

I assume AFR2 is the way to go with Stalker?

Click on SLI in the control panel, then one of the menu options at top says 3D settings I believe... you can enable it there.

From what I've experienced and read about, the 101.70 dont support SLI at all.

101.41 seem to support SLI in vista, but only with 32bit, 64bit doesn't work for me :(

It does support SLI, because I ticked the option that says "Enable SLI" lol

Cheers Jakup, found it now.

It should ask for a restart.

Once you restart is it still ticked or is it back how it was?

Still ticked and never asked me to restart, but have restarted a few times since it got ticked from regular use, if that makes sense.

The 101.70's ran great for me in SLI when I was running them. I have since gone back to XP though.

101.70 performance was a little better than the 101.40

It should be asking for a restart before it can enable, it does for everyone else that I'm aware of.

With such slow performance I suspect it's just not using SLI, can you confirm with the performance bars?

Yeah, turns out SLI is being used.... strange. The bars do fill up the screen as such. Hmmmm

Where do you enable the green bars? I do not see it in 3D settings although I have SLI enabled.

Also on another note does anyone have a preference on the SLI setting under 3D. The choices are for example:

Force Split frame rendering
Force alternate frame rendering #1
Force alternate frame rendering #2
Single GPU (default)

And the damn green bars how do I see the green bars!!!!! :p

Like it has been said already, goto the page in the control panel where you enable/disable SLI, and then click 3D settings from the top menu. The option to enable the SLI bars will be there. This option ONLY shows up if you're on the SLI page.

Well the option is not there for me, I have tried the 101.41 and the 101.70 and neither have the option under the SLI / 3D page, as a matter of fact I have checked every page but still no option....

Strange most people report that SLI does not work in the 101.70 drivers, its not working for me either...

I cant see where to turn on the the bars, I'm using the 101.70 drivers, when I select the "Set multi GPU configuration" page at the top I just get File/Edit/View/Help

None of them contain SLI options :/
