View Full Version : cpu clocks wrong?
hi guys i been checking my processor clock speed for my x6800 and the original speed is 2933 mhz but it keeps fluctuating every second or so too 1600 mhz 6.0x i tried everest, cpuz says the same thing. ntune says its ok and so does my bios (2933.0 x11) should i be worried? any help would be appreciated, thanks
this is what it reports
cpu clock 1600.0 mhz(original 2933 mhz)
cpu multipier 6.0 x
cpu clock 2933.0
cpu multiplier 11.0x
it fluctuates back and forth
Disable speedstep in the bios?

Disable Speedstep and everything you can find that has to do with reducing core etc etc etc.
speedstep was disabled, i didnt check the others i really have no clue what im doing in the bios lol, thanks for the reply though guys:)
i think i got it, its stable now i disabled three options after the speedstep, wasnt really paying attention too what i disabled but seemed too work. Hope nothing i disabled has a impact on anything else. thanks alot guys, really appreciate it.:) cheers
i disabled C1E Enhanced Halt State
Execute Disabled Bit
Virtulization Technology
if anyone sees a problem with any of those 3 disabled please let me know
im not sure which did the trick just disabled them all.
