Windows Vista's start menu is alot more different then Windows XP. I've had to revert back to classic start menu just to make it easier. Is there away to customize Vista'a start menu so it's like Windows XP's start menu but without having to revert to classic start menu? I love the fancy graphics! :D

You mean other than right clicking and 'customize'? Not that I'm aware of.

It does take a bit to get used to though doesn't it?

If you have a lot of programs (hundreds like me), the fastest way to start a particular app is to press WinKey, start typing app name (e.g. "Wo" for "Microsoft Word"), and press Enter :-)

Integrated Windows Desktop Search searches Start Menu apps as well (with high priority)...

What he said :D

I have also gotten used to the regular menu, once you fiddle around with it.

Light-years better than the default crap in XP and there is always classic if you really want to use it.

Yeah, if you have loads of programs installed, the best way is to use the search. It's great

Just give it time. I hated it at first but after a while, it grows on you.

The search feature is the way to go. Stick with it and you'll get used to it. I just wish that games in the games explorer would be searchable. I have to make new shortcuts for the games I install in Vista so that I can just type them in at start.
