NV Driver on Linux/FreeBSD

Hi,

I wonder why the "nv" driver doesn't support dvi...

In XFree 4.3.0 there's a new option Option "FlatPanel" "True" - but turning it on results in a blank screen... not setting it results in a turned off monitor...

In vesa and vga the DVI works...
Why doesnt nv support dvi correctly when even vga and vesa supports it?!?

I don't know, but that's a question for the XFree86 developers, not anyone here (at least, AFAIK no one here works on X). ;)

The "nv" driver that comes standard with X is written by the XFree86 team, not nVidia.
