Gents, I have posted in many threads that my setup with my EVGA SLI 7900 GT KO system gives me massive Vertical corruption time and time again under an array of different cirmcumstances. My clan (HRgamers) and I mainly play COD2 so most of my game play is with this game. However it does not just happen with games but even occasionally comming out of screen saver, specifically dreamscene, or monitor sleep mode. Now I have found a way to minimise this corruption by making sure my monitor resolution as well as my monitor frequency matches the running application i.e. the game(s). Now this is why I am posting this thread. I also have a XFI Fatality Pro card so I have the latest and greatest XFI drivers and the added on Creative Alchemy to transmute for EAX3. EAX3 will not transmute prioperly unless you have the creative control panel set to gamemode. Now with that said today i found that enabling Creative EAX 3 with COD2 causes massive Vertical Corruption where as leaving the stock 2D positional audio setting the game runs fine. I have no idea how the 2 are linked but I can only assume it has to do with DRM and the whole Copyright Video/Audio link? Does anyone or has anyone experianced this link. Or does anyone have any comments? I will be posting a bug report to Nvidia regarding this... :(
