Do you mean organize your files?

I made one long ago in C# when .NET just came out.

It would look through the ID3 tags of each file and organize them by folders, it would be artist/album.

However I have the executable somewhere but is somewhat buggy because of .net 2.0 and .net 3.0 and some security warnings it pops up.

I might rewrite that in C++ someday.

Yes,

I am looking for something to organize and rename them.

I am going to check out winamp, do I need to download a plug in to rename files.

Thanks,

K

I use Tagscanner for mass renaming and tag editing/generation. Great program.

Awsome program! Helped organize all my music... took awhile since if I selected too many files at one time the software would crash, hehe.

iTunes does a great job in my opinion. It doesn't run well on an old computer though.

This is an excellent program, far better than iTunes, does an EXCELLENT job. iTunes is a very, very, VERY poor program to be using if you have over like 1000 songs...

Thanks,

I'll give the Monkey a try, just looking at the site, it seems to be what I need.
