Nash didn't deserve it to begin with, so that is pretty irrelevant.

If it was not based on Playoff performance then why do they wait so long before they announce it? I understand its possible to win MVP without even making it far in the playoffs, but its not very probable. People vote for MVP. They base it off of recent events whether they mean to or not.

The votes are already in as they state every year m8.

The playoff's do no determine who wins.

That's why they have the playoff finals MVP, for the best player in the playoffs (so to speak)
