When is Nvidia going to do the right thing and dump this idiotic Control Panel. It's a real mess, and Digital Vibrance still doesn't work with 8-series cards. Nvidia has really dropped the ball with this horrid Vista drivers. I'm seriously thinking of going back to AMD/ATI and leaving this Nvidia madness behind. There was a time that Nvidia's drivers were the gold standard and ATI's were crap. Man, have times changed!!!! ATI puts Nividia to shame.:thumbdwn:
wtf why is there still no freaking DV, man im going crazy here!

I can't understand why Nvidia wants to do away with Digital Vibrance. It was a great feature that is still available on 7-series cards. Also, we still have a ways to go with these Vista drivers.

What makes you think they want to 'do away' with DV? I don't believe that. It's just a matter of time and drivers, so chill out.

I've actually stopped using DV on XP because I doubt Nvidia is going to get DV working anytime soon. Not as bad as I thought so far.

True, give it a couple of years and we may get a driver that sort of works reasonably........................................ .......On second thought, perhaps not considering that Vista is shaping up as a total POS and Ncraptacular/MSoftschlong can't even give us a CLEAN uninstall/install graphics driver procedure things are looking phucked up. Going back to 100.65's.... best driver release to date for Vista... and no issues (for me...)

god damn, you are really getting on people nerves
I don't like dv that much. I thought it was neat for a while but then decided it seems to distort colors in a bad way more than anything. Same thing with this MagicColor feature on my Samsung lcd. It looks almost the same as dv on a low level.

I don't care what any of you DV-h8rs are saying, it was a great feature and how can it be so difficult to implement? :D

No, the thing getting on your nerves is the fact that forceware drivers are basically crap as of late, you know it, I know it and many others know it and are experiencing this fact. I just acknowledge this so stop using that as your excuse for using my statements as a scapegoat to vent your frustrations with Ncraptacular and MSoftschlong. (nana2)

Nvidias drivers are lame atm therefore they deserve the title of Ncraptacular.
Perhaps you should tell Ncraptacular to STFU with the PR BS promises and to start delivering. (nana2)

I acctually liked the control panel in the 158.18's as it was a lot like the old one IMO (at least in terms of layout)... To bad I switch backed to the old drivers to get my fan control back....
I simply guess that transfering DV to Vista is extremely difficult, maybe due to the new driver system. But it will come one day and unless you have no idea of how difficult it is to write drivers for Vista you should stop flaming.

it will come one day
I'm starting to reallly doubt that :thumbdwn:
DV does work in XP with 158.19 driver set though.

Sigh its so stupid... do I stay with XP with DV or go to Vista without it... I just really cant stand my Dell 24" without it turned on, the screen is just so boring to look at without it :o
There again XP as an OS is 'boring' too (6 years of it) and I paid Au $299 for Vista retail, so I guess I'll be switching to Vista full time eventually anyway regardless if this is fixed, but I dont have to at the moment because there is no Vista-only stuff. That will change when Halo 2 comes out next month

DV doesn't work in Vsita but works in XP. Scaling doesn't work in XP but works in Vista. LMAO
